Potato Skillet is a quick and easy healthy breakfast skillet perfect for Sunday mornings or a late brunch.

As a matter of fact, its all made in one pot except for the boiled potatoes means less clean up and more eating!

The importance of the potato as a food source and culinary ingredient varies by region and is still changing.

It remains an essential crop in Europe, especially Northern and Eastern Europe, where per capita production is still the highest in the world,

while the most rapid expansion in production over the past few decades has occurred in southern and eastern Asia,

with China and India leading the world in overall production as of 2014.

So here are the ingredients and instruction in making Potato Skillet.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 peeled and diced potatoes
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Add all ingredients to list

Directions

  1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Remove bacon slices, reserving grease. Crumble bacon and set aside.
  2. Add potatoes to bacon grease and season with garlic salt, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Cook until potatoes are soft.
  3. When potatoes are tender, add crumbled bacon. Pour eggs over potatoes and cook until firm. Spread with cheese and cover with a lid until melted.
