Berry + Yogurt Smoothie recipe is a delicious blend of frozen mixed berries, vegan vanilla yogurt, plant milk, and makes a healthy breakfast, snack or dessert!

HOW TO MAKE BERRY + YOGURT SMOOTHIE

Making a berry & yogurt smoothie is so easy and ready in minutes!

  1. Place ingredients into your blender, blend until smooth, stopping every now and then to scrape down the sides if needed.
  2. Add an extra splash of non-dairy milk or water as needed.
  3. Once ingredients are blended, serve your smoothie in a glass with a straw/spoon or enjoy your smoothie from a bowl.
  4. Either way, adding a few toppings will take your smoothie over the top.

BERRY + YOGURT SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and/or blackberries)
  • 1 – 5.3 oz. (about 3/4 cup) non-dairy yogurt (pref plain, but any flavor works)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or water
  • 1 small banana, optional (but adds extra creaminess!)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or ground vanilla bean powder, optional

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place ingredients into your blender, blend until smooth, stopping every now and then to scrape down the sides if needed.
  • Add an extra splash of non-dairy milk or water as needed.
  • Serve as is in a glass with straw/spoon. Alternately, serve in a bowl making a smoothie bowl.
  • Either way you serve it, top with any one or more of these optional topping:
  1. frozen/fresh berries
  2. granola
  3. coconut flakes
  4. cocoa nibs
  5. chia/hemp seeds
  6. chopped almonds
  7. a dollop of your favorite nut butter

Serves 1 large or 2 small smoothies.

Notes:

If concerned with too much-added sugar, I would suggest using Silk’s Almondmilk Plain Yogurt Alternative. It only contains 6 grams of sugar per 5.3 oz. serving.
