Let’s classify the foods into three groups: Go, Slow, and Whoa: In the ‘Go’ category, the foods in the category can be consumed daily.
That’s because these foods are low in fat, calories, and sugar. These foods include whole fruits and vegetables.
For instance, you may eat two cups of fruit per day to supplement your daily need of the required nutrients.
In the ‘Slow’ food category, we should consume foods that are higher in fat and have added sugar and calories. These include canned butter, eggs, cheese, pizza, or anything fried.
For the ‘Whoa’ category, we should avoid as much as possible drinking soda, junk foods, canned fruit drinks, candies, chocolates, among others.
Lastly, the food you eat should be balanced with the energy you consume daily.
